Chessington World of Adventures Announces New Attractions and Events

United Kingdom - Chessington World of Adventures Resort has announced a series of new attractions and events, including a partnership with Nintendo to feature elements from the video game Animal Crossing: New Horizons for a limited duration. These additions will be available to visitors at the resort this summer.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons Experience

Until August 31, Chessington World of Adventures offers an experience developed in collaboration with Nintendo, based on Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

Visitors can explore the SEA LIFE Aquarium islands and encounter characters like Tom Nook.

Activities include fossil digs and stamp collecting, with rewards available for participants.

This temporary attraction targets fans of the game and families seeking interactive activities.

Character Meet and Greets

During the summer holidays, visitors can meet characters from children’s franchises, including CoComelon, Gruffalo, and newly introduced characters from PAW Patrol. These interactions allow children to see popular characters in person during their visit.

Upcoming PAW Patrol Additions

Chessington World of Adventures plans to introduce a PAW Patrol-themed land, set to open in spring 2026.

In preparation, themed hotel rooms dedicated to PAW Patrol will be available starting in October. This expansion is part of the resort’s introduction of new themes and attractions.

New Summer Shows

The resort is launching two new summer shows. “Wild Beats: Battle for The Crown” features a dance-off, inflatables, and sing-alongs. “Lands Unite: The Grand Adventure” is a flash-mob style performance that includes characters from different themed areas of the park.
