New Multi-Launch Coaster “Giant Revolution” to Debut at Lotte World Adventure Busan

Lotte World Adventure Busan in South Korea will introduce a new attraction with the addition of the “Giant Revolution” coaster, designed by Italian manufacturer Zamperla. Scheduled for a 2026 opening, this ride is noted for being Zamperla’s first “Double Heart” multi-launch model.

Technical Specifications and Design

The “Giant Revolution” will stand 164 feet (50 meters) tall, making it the largest compact triple launch coaster in the world. The coaster has a compact footprint of 230 feet by 69 feet (70 meters by 21 meters). It features three launches—two forward and one backward—allowing it to reach a top speed of 68 mph (110 km/h).

The track length of the “Giant Revolution” measures 1,066 feet (325 meters), with the total traveled track extending to 1,772 feet (540 meters). The coaster will be equipped with Zamperla’s Lightning trains, which include comfortable restraints. The minimum height requirement for riders is set at 47 inches (120 centimeters).

Capacity and Structure

The “Giant Revolution” will accommodate an hourly capacity of 600 riders. Each train consists of four vehicles, with each vehicle seating four passengers, totaling 16 passengers per train.

Impact and Context

The “Giant Revolution” will become a central attraction at Lotte World Adventure Busan, which currently includes nine Zamperla attractions. It is part of Zamperla’s Triple Launch Family and shares design elements with other rides, including Top Thrill 2.
