Flipped Funpark in Singen, Germany, has officially opened its biggest expansion since the family attraction first welcomed guests in 2022. The new outdoor area significantly broadens the park’s offering and marks the first time visitors can enjoy attractions outside the indoor entertainment centre.
The expansion introduces the new Balamba themed area, adding several rides and laying the foundation for even more growth in the coming years.
New Outdoor Attractions
The Balamba area features three new attractions aimed at families and thrill-seekers alike.
Visitors can experience Jengo Fall, a family-friendly drop tower, take to the water aboard the Bamba Boots bumper boats, or ride the Spiral of Fear, a spinning thrill attraction that adds a more intense experience to the park’s growing lineup.
The new outdoor zone complements the existing indoor attractions, allowing Flipped Funpark to offer entertainment regardless of the weather.
More Expansions Already Planned
The latest investment is only the beginning of the park’s long-term expansion plans.
Management has already announced several future additions, including bumper cars, a water playground, a giant inflatable jumping pillow and a family roller coaster. Additional themed areas and new food and beverage outlets are also planned as the destination continues to grow.
Free Admission Model
Flipped Funpark continues to operate with a free-entry concept.
Guests only pay for the attractions they wish to experience, either by purchasing individual ride tickets or by buying an Erlebnis-Bändel wristband that provides access to multiple attractions. The park’s playgrounds and entertainment programme remain free to enjoy.
Indoor Adventure World
Since opening in 2022, Flipped Funpark has steadily expanded its indoor attractions, which include trampoline zones, climbing experiences, playgrounds, a virtual reality battle arena, a 5D cinema and a haunted house.
Much of the park’s theming has been designed and built in-house in collaboration with local companies and craftsmen, giving the destination its own distinctive identity.
With the opening of the Balamba themed area and additional attractions already on the drawing board, Flipped Funpark is continuing its transformation into one of the largest family entertainment destinations in the Lake Constance region.
