Universal has shared new details about its upcoming Five Nights at Freddy’s haunted house, which will feature at Halloween Horror Nights 2025 in both Universal Studios Florida and Universal Studios Hollywood.
Inspired by the hit 2023 film based on the iconic horror video game, the house promises a suspenseful and immersive journey through the world of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria.
Guests will follow the story of Mike, a recently fired man who takes on a night shift security job to support his sister—only to find himself trapped in a nightmare. Visitors will navigate dimly lit corridors and uncover dark secrets, encountering supernatural threats and the eerie reality that nothing at Freddy’s is quite what it seems.
Universal confirmed that the house will include life-sized animatronic characters from the film: Freddy Fazbear, Chica, Bonnie, Foxy, and Mr. Cupcake. These familiar faces will stalk guests through recreated scenes, including the security office and the pizzeria showroom floor.
The animatronics and costumes were developed in collaboration with Jim Henson’s Creature Shop, the same team behind the 2023 film’s practical effects. This ensures the haunted house versions are as faithful and terrifying as the movie’s designs.
With Five Nights at Freddy’s being Blumhouse’s most successful film to date and a beloved horror franchise, the haunted house is expected to be one of the main draws at HHN 34 on both coasts.
