Universal Horror Unleashed Introduces “Krampus & Kin” for Holiday Season

Universal Horror Unleashed - Universal Horror Unleashed in Las Vegas has initiated its inaugural holiday season with the introduction of “Krampus & Kin,” a seasonal event scheduled from November 15, 2025, to January 3, 2026. This event includes a range of holiday-themed experiences that differ from the standard haunted house format, featuring a mix of folklore-based activities.

Event Details and Activities

“Krampus & Kin” offers a series of activities focused on the mythical figures Krampus, Grýla, and Kallikantzaroi. Visitors have the opportunity to engage in experiences such as sitting on Krampus’ throne, exploring Grýla’s cauldron, and gathering under Kallikantzaroi’s tree. The event also includes an indoor parade with these creatures and storytelling sessions that explore their lore.

The event provides themed culinary items, including a dessert called “Krampus’ Snow Globe.” These activities are available on select dates, as Universal Horror Unleashed is closed on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Christmas Day.

Additional Attractions and Background

Universal Horror Unleashed, which opened in August at the Area15 entertainment district, hosts four other haunted house attractions: “Universal Monsters,” “Scarecrow: The Reaping,” “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre,” and “Blumhouse’s The Exorcist: Believer.” The “Krampus & Kin” event follows Universal’s previous use of the Krampus theme during Halloween Horror Nights in 2016.

Kim Scott, the general manager of Universal Horror Unleashed, noted the event’s combination of folklore, food, and fright, providing a distinct holiday experience for visitors in Las Vegas. The limited-time event represents an addition to the park’s seasonal options, utilizing cultural myths to create a festive attraction.
