New Hampshire - Story Land in New Hampshire has announced the return of two classic attractions for the 2026 season with the revival of “Turtle Twirl” and “Crazy Barn.” The park will also extend its operating season to its longest duration yet, alongside various scheduled events.
Return of “Turtle Twirl” and “Crazy Barn”
The “Turtle Twirl,” initially introduced in 1996, is set to return. This ride was previously removed to accommodate a new water play area that opened in 2024. It will now be included again in the park’s offerings. Additionally, the “Crazy Barn” flat ride will also make a return, contributing to the family-friendly rides available at Story Land.
Extended Season and Events
For the 2026 season, Story Land will commence its extended operating period on May 23, running daily throughout the summer until 6 p.m. This extension will provide more opportunities for families to visit the park’s attractions and events.
Alongside the returning rides, Story Land will feature several recurring events. These include “Nostalgia Nights,” “Neighbor Days,” aimed at community engagement, and the Halloween-themed “Happy Hauntings.”
Operator’s Plans
Palace Entertainment, the operator of Story Land, has stated its intent to provide new experiences while maintaining the established family traditions that characterize the park. This approach is reflected in the park’s plans for the 2026 season.
