Belgium - Sparkx has launched its second sportainment park in Ghent, Belgium. This new venue includes a range of interactive sports activities and custom-developed attractions.
Facilities Overview
The Ghent location covers 4,800 square meters (approximately 51,667 square feet), which is larger than the original Sparkx park in Hasselt. The park features 42 interactive sports stations, with 16 new additions such as motorsport simulations, ice hockey, and equestrian sports.
Outdoor and Inclusive Features
The park includes an outdoor area of around 600 square meters (about 6,458 square feet) dedicated to sports like floorball and pickleball. It also offers options for guests with physical disabilities, such as the “Wheely-X” installation for wheelchair racing, sourced from a South Korean supplier.
Attractions and Future Developments
Sparkx has developed its own sports experiences that integrate virtual game components. These are currently exclusive to Sparkx locations. The park can accommodate up to 2,000 people, catering to individual visitors and larger groups, including corporate events and school outings.
Sparkx has plans for further expansion within Belgium and internationally.
