Attractie- & Vakantiepark Slagharen is giving guests an unexpected chance to step inside one of its Halloween attractions months before spooky season begins.
During this year’s Wild West Summer Nights, the park’s Haunted House at Crow’s Nest will temporarily reopen as a laser tag arena, allowing visitors to battle each other inside the normally off-limits Halloween location.
Halloween Comes Early
The attraction is usually reserved exclusively for Slagharen’s annual Halloween event, but this summer guests will be able to explore the themed barn in a completely different way.
Instead of encountering actors and scares, visitors will compete in laser tag matches inside the atmospheric setting. The activity is available for an additional fee and must be booked in advance.
It marks the first time the Halloween venue has been used as part of the park’s summer entertainment programme.
Part of the New Wild West Summer Nights
The laser tag experience is one of several additions to Slagharen’s redesigned Wild West Summer Nights.
Rather than centring the evening around one main stage, the park has introduced entertainment throughout its different themed areas. Guests can enjoy live music, street entertainment, food and drinks while all attractions remain open until 9:00 p.m.
The programme also features country music performances at Sky Sifter Square, a mariachi band in Plaza Mexicana, interactive shows with the Red Bandits and a Super Bingo finale in the Music Hall.
Eight Summer Evenings
Wild West Summer Nights take place on eight selected dates throughout July and August, with the evening programme included in regular park admission. Visitors who only wish to attend the evening festivities can also purchase a special evening ticket with entry from 4:00 p.m.
By opening one of its Halloween attractions months ahead of schedule, Slagharen is giving guests a rare opportunity to experience a normally seasonal location in a completely different way.
