SkyLake Indiana - SkyLake Indiana, a new theme park located in Sheridan, Indiana, is set to open in the summer of 2026. Positioned in Hamilton County, the park will include features such as a six-acre lake, white sand beaches, water slides, and an adventure zone, providing entertainment for various age groups.
Construction Milestones and Features
The construction of SkyLake Indiana has advanced significantly, particularly with the completion of major earthworks. A total of 570,000 cubic yards of dirt have been relocated, a task finished ahead of schedule due to favorable weather. This initial phase was executed by Alt Construction and Will Power Excavation, paving the way for the next construction stages.
The six-acre lake is a prominent feature of the park, accompanied by white sand beaches. The installation of a custom lake liner is scheduled to begin this week and is expected to conclude in four weeks. Lake filling is planned to start in early December. The development includes the delivery of 28,000 tons of white sand for the beaches.
All-Season Attractions
SkyLake Indiana will also feature an all-season tubing hill, which has reached a height of 80 feet (24 meters). This, along with water slides and water obstacles, is designed to provide entertainment throughout the year.
Anticipated Opening and Future Updates
The park remains on schedule for its 2026 opening. Updates and further announcements can be accessed through SkyLake Indiana’s official website.
