Florida - SeaWorld Orlando will observe National Roller Coaster Day on August 16, 2025, with an event titled “The Ultimate Challenge.” This occasion allows guests to ride all eight of the park’s roller coasters in a single day, with exclusive rewards for those who complete the challenge.
Event Details
Participants in “The Ultimate Challenge” will traverse SeaWorld Orlando’s collection of roller coasters. Successful completion will earn guests a limited-edition 2025 National Roller Coaster Day poster and a special Ultimate Challenge lanyard, which will track their progress. The event is open to roller coaster enthusiasts and families.
Highlighted Coasters and Attractions
Among the attractions is Pipeline: The Surf Coaster, noted as the world’s first surf coaster. It reaches speeds of up to 73 mph and is recognized as Orlando’s tallest and fastest surf coaster.
SeaWorld Orlando Pass Members will have the opportunity to join a behind-the-scenes tour of Kraken, the park’s floorless coaster celebrating its 25th anniversary. Tours, scheduled at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., will provide an in-depth look at the ride’s design and mechanics.
Event Logistics
Check-in for “The Ultimate Challenge” will be located at the front of the park. Registration will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on the event day, allowing attendees to participate at their convenience.
