The countdown is officially underway at PortAventura World. The Spanish resort has confirmed the opening dates for two brand-new family attractions that will debut before the end of July, adding fresh experiences to both Caribe Aquatic Park and PortAventura Park.
The first addition will welcome guests on July 23, while the second is set to follow just one week later on July 30.
Coral Bay Opens at Caribe Aquatic Park on July 23
The first new attraction, Coral Bay: La Leyenda Perdida, will officially open on July 23 at Caribe Aquatic Park.
Designed as a family adventure, the new attraction invites guests to explore a mysterious lost legend hidden beneath the tropical surroundings of the water park. PortAventura describes the experience as combining excitement and family-friendly fun in a new themed environment inspired by the Caribbean.
The attraction forms part of the resort’s continued investment in expanding the offering at Caribe Aquatic Park with new experiences suitable for a broad range of visitors.
Makamanu Jungle Debuts One Week Later
Just a week after Coral Bay opens, PortAventura Park will unveil another new attraction.
On July 30, guests will be able to experience Makamanu Jungle: The Adventure Trek, located within the Polynesia themed area. The attraction has been designed as an interactive jungle adventure where visitors follow an exploration route through a lush tropical setting, encouraging families to discover hidden corners while immersing themselves in the atmosphere of the rainforest.
The new experience continues the resort’s strategy of adding highly themed walk-through attractions alongside its collection of rides.
Busy Summer for PortAventura World
With the openings taking place during the peak summer season, both attractions are expected to become immediate additions to the resort’s family offering.
By launching Coral Bay on July 23 and Makamanu Jungle on July 30, PortAventura World will provide visitors with two completely new adventures within the space of a single week, further strengthening its attraction lineup for the 2026 season.
