Nigloland Adds Mascot Encounter House and New Eco-Themed Lodging in 2025

Nigloland has introduced two significant developments in 2025: a dedicated meet-and-greet location called La Maison de Niglo and a new accommodation complex named Cabaïana. These additions reflect the park’s ongoing efforts to improve theming for young visitors and expand its resort offerings.

La Maison de Niglo Opens in La Forêt de Niglo

La Maison de Niglo, opened in July 2025, serves as the new home for mascots Niglo and Niglotte. Located beneath the station of L’Envol des Papillons in the La Forêt de Niglo themed area, the venue offers a themed interior and dedicated photo space for visitor interactions. The location replaces the previous mascot area near the entrance and Atelier de Jeannot gift shop.

La Forêt de Niglo also includes Zabeilles, Les Hérissons de la Forêt Magique, and Noisette Express. The addition of the mascot house strengthens the themed area’s appeal for families with young children. According to the park, “Niglo” means hedgehog in the Romani language and symbolizes travel and family, reflecting the origins of the park’s founding team of fairground professionals.

Cabaïana Lodges Increase Resort Capacity

Opened on April 5, 2025, Cabaïana adds 20 wooden cabins located in a forested area behind the Hôtel des Pirates. Each unit accommodates up to six people and is constructed with natural materials in line with Nigloland’s environmental commitments. The total guest capacity of the resort now reaches 270 people per night.

The cabins follow a South American theme and are positioned along a watercourse to enhance the natural setting. The Hôtel des Pirates, opened in 2005, was also refurbished in 2025 with updated theming. Together, these lodging projects contribute to the park’s broader environmental strategy, as seen in other attractions such as Zabeilles and Noisette Express.

Continued Development Ahead of 2027 Coaster Launch

Nigloland has confirmed additional projects for the coming years, including new attractions and further renovations. Among these is a major roller coaster scheduled to open in 2027. The park has indicated that both theming and sustainability will remain central to its development strategy.
