New Single-Rail Coaster Concept by S&S Worldwide Now Operational

A new roller coaster concept by S&S Worldwide, the RailRyder, is now operational. This design, which has been under construction for several months, recently completed its initial test rides, highlighting its single-rail structure. The RailRyder provides a distinct ride experience, differing from traditional coasters.

Design Features

The RailRyder’s primary feature is its single-rail design, distinguishing it from conventional roller coasters. This design allows for more varied track layouts. The coaster is engineered to be family-friendly, with a minimum height requirement of 1 meter, enabling younger children to ride. Safety is maintained through the use of a lap belt.

Technical Specifications

The RailRyder reaches speeds of up to nearly 60 kilometers per hour (approximately 37 miles per hour). The coaster also includes multiple design options, allowing theme parks to customize the attraction to meet specific requirements.

Development and Introduction

S&S Worldwide, also known as S&S Sansei Technologies, first introduced the RailRyder concept at the IAAPA Expo in 2017. Since then, the company has refined and constructed the prototype, culminating in the recent completion of test rides. This development represents a milestone for S&S Worldwide in the roller coaster industry.
