Disney’s Animal Kingdom - Disney’s Animal Kingdom has introduced a new attraction, “Zootopia: Better Zoogether!”, a 3D show that became available to guests on November 7, 2025. The show was developed with contributions from Joe Rohde, a former Imagineering executive known for his work at the park. This addition aligns with the park’s themes of nature, transformation, and interconnectedness.
Show Features
The “Zootopia: Better Zoogether!” show immerses guests in the world of Zootopia using advanced technology. Visitors receive “CarrotVision” glasses to enhance their experience, allowing them to appreciate in-theater effects such as water sprays. This approach aims to engage guests through sensory experiences, bringing the narrative to life.
Collaboration
Joe Rohde, a significant contributor to Disney’s Animal Kingdom’s thematic direction, participated in a “peer-review” process for the show. His expertise helped ensure that the new attraction remains consistent with the park’s themes. The show focuses on the value of nature and interconnectedness, principles Rohde advocated during his tenure.
Additional Park Features
Alongside the launch of “Zootopia: Better Zoogether!”, Disney’s Animal Kingdom has introduced character meet-and-greets featuring Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde from the “Zootopia” film. The park is planning further expansions, with an “Encanto” attraction and an Indiana Jones ride scheduled to open in 2027.
