Monte Noulikas, a Greek cable car company, has launched several new attractions aimed at boosting tourism year-round in North Tzoumerka, Epirus, Greece.
These attractions include an artificial ski slope and Tubby runs, developed in collaboration with an Italian supplier.
Artificial Ski Slope and Tubby Runs
The main feature of the development is an artificial ski slope with a ridable surface of 1,500 square meters. This facility is designed for both beginners and experienced skiers, allowing skill practice throughout the year. The slope’s design facilitates year-round use, adding versatility to the region’s tourism offerings.
Accompanying the ski slope are two Tubby runs, each 90 meters in length. These are designed for tube use, with one run offering a straight course and the other a winding path. The Tubby runs provide a different sliding experience for visitors.
Collaboration and Future Plans
Monte Noulikas collaborated with an Italian company specializing in artificial ski and sliding slopes to develop these attractions.
This partnership is part of broader plans to create an adventure and activity park in the region. The park is expected to include hiking trails and various nature-based activities.
The Tzoumerka Mountains, known for their natural beauty and outdoor recreational opportunities, provide the backdrop for these developments. By expanding the range of attractions, Monte Noulikas aims to position North Tzoumerka as a year-round tourist destination.
