Momentum Leisure to Develop New Family Theme Park in Gliwice, Poland

Poland - Momentum Leisure has obtained a building permit for a new family-oriented theme park in Gliwice, Southern Poland. This will be the company’s fourth location in the country, situated next to the Europa Centralna retail park. The park is projected to open by mid-2027, featuring a mix of indoor and outdoor attractions on a 5-hectare site.

Park Overview and Theming

The theme park will incorporate various internationally recognized intellectual properties (IPs), including Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants and PAW Patrol, along with The Smurfs. The design will include an urban-themed indoor area and an outdoor section with roller coasters and other attractions. The entire project will cover 67,000 square meters (approximately 721,182 square feet), with the initial phase featuring a 10,000 square meter (107,639 square feet) indoor space and a similarly sized outdoor area.

Roller Coasters and Attractions

Momentum Leisure has acquired two roller coasters for the park’s opening phase from manufacturers Zierer and Gerstlauer. One coaster will be themed around the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise and will include both indoor and outdoor sections.

Construction Timeline

Construction is expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2025, following the completion of land acquisition. The park’s grand opening is scheduled for mid-2027.
