Lucky Strike Entertainment Acquires Three Herschend Family Entertainment Parks

California - Lucky Strike Entertainment has acquired three parks from Herschend Family Entertainment. The properties include Raging Waters Los Angeles, Castle Park in Riverside, California, and Wet ‘n Wild Emerald Pointe in Greensboro, North Carolina.

This acquisition adds to Lucky Strike’s existing portfolio of bowling and family entertainment centers across North America.

Details of the Acquired Parks

Raging Waters Los Angeles, located in San Dimas, California, is the largest water park in the state, covering approximately 60 acres and featuring over 50 attractions, including water slides and wave pools.

Wet ‘n Wild Emerald Pointe in Greensboro, North Carolina, spans 40 acres and offers more than 40 attractions. It is one of the largest water parks in the Southeast.

Castle Park, situated in Riverside, California, was developed in 1976. The 24-acre amusement park offers a mix of rides and entertainment options.

Additional Acquisitions

Lucky Strike Entertainment also acquired Boomers entertainment centers in Vista and Palm Springs, California. These centers offer activities such as go-karts, laser tag, and mini-golf.

The acquisition follows Herschend Family Entertainment’s brief ownership of the parks, which began in March 2025 after acquiring them from Palace Entertainment’s U.S. parks. Lucky Strike’s CEO, Thomas Shannon, has commented that these acquisitions are intended to enhance their offerings across North America.
