Italy - Leolandia, a theme park in Italy, has opened a new themed area named “Crazy Circus,” which incorporates seven new rides inspired by the American circus tradition of Barnum’s “The Greatest Show on Earth.”
The “Crazy Circus” area at Leolandia includes attractions inspired by traditional circus acts. The new rides include Deltaplanet, Blade Storm, and Cannonball, simulating trapeze flights, knife-throwing, and human cannonball acts. These attractions are primarily targeted at children aged 6 to 12 and their families.
In addition to the rides, “Crazy Circus” features a live show with performances by a Ringmaster and magical rabbits. The area also includes a new food outlet, Fry-Day, offering circus-themed street food.
The development of “Crazy Circus” involved an investment of €15 million. The park has also launched a 2026 season pass campaign, which includes a promotional offer of free access for the 2025 season. Leolandia plans to expand its attractions with additional offerings, some scheduled for completion by 2026.
Leolandia reported over a million visitors in 2024 and expects a 20% increase in visitor numbers for 2025.
