Sweden - Kolmården, an animal and amusement park located on Sweden’s east coast, will hold its “Sagojul” event beginning on November 29 and continuing over five weekends until December 31. The event will include a range of themed activities, performances, and experiences centered around the holiday season.
Festive Attractions and Activities
Kolmården’s “Sagojul” event will offer various attractions for visitors. Notable features include “Nissebyn,” where guests can meet Santa Claus, and a tree-lighting ceremony in “Bamses Värld,” featuring the character Bamse. Additionally, a new ice show at the Rovfågelarena will portray Santa’s preparations for Christmas night.
Animal Encounters and Winter Experiences
In “Vintergläntan,” visitors can encounter winter-active animals and learn about their adaptations to the cold. This interactive experience provides educational insights into the animals’ behaviors and habitats during winter. Kolmården, known for its naturalistic enclosures, offers a setting that combines animal education with seasonal entertainment.
Musical Performances and Interactive Experiences
The “Sagojul” event will also feature musical performances and interactive activities at the “Jultorget” square. These activities are designed to engage visitors during the festive season. The event will be held on select dates from 10 AM to 5 PM, providing a holiday experience in a scenic setting.
