Kennywood Park - Kennywood Park in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, will introduce a new haunted attraction, “Detached,” as part of its annual Phantom Fall Fest. The event, scheduled from September 12 to November 1, 2025, will include various experiences designed to engage visitors with a combination of horror and amusement.
New Attraction and Event Details
This year’s Phantom Fall Fest will feature the debut of “Detached,” a haunted house located in a toy store setting, managed by the character known as the Puppet Master. In addition to “Detached,” the event will include four scare zones and six haunted houses, such as “mAlice in Wonderland Unleashed,” “Shady Grove,” “Dark Shadows,” and “Fear Fest.”
The festival provides family-friendly activities during the day. After 6 p.m., nearly 200 scare actors will participate in creating a Halloween-themed atmosphere.
Rides and Operating Hours
During Phantom Fall Fest, most of Kennywood’s rides will be available, complementing the horror-themed attractions. Key rides include The Steel Curtain, Jack Rabbit, Black Widow, and Phantom’s Revenge. The park’s operating hours for the event are Fridays from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., Saturdays from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Sundays from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. There will also be a special opening on October 23.
Seasonal Offerings and Passes
The 2025 season at Kennywood will conclude with a festive event starting November 14. Visitors can purchase 2026 Season Passes at a discounted rate, which provide access to the remaining 2025 events and additional benefits.
