Florida - Universal Orlando Resort has announced that Jason Voorhees will return to Halloween Horror Nights in 2025 with a new haunted house experience titled “Jason Universe.” This attraction will explore the “Friday the 13th” franchise, beginning at the fictional Camp Crystal Lake.
Design and Collaboration
The “Jason Universe” haunted house will feature a revised depiction of the character Jason Voorhees. The new design includes a hockey mask with 13 holes, created in collaboration with horror makeup artist Greg Nicotero. Nicotero’s contribution is expected to provide an accurate representation of the character.
Historical Appearances
Jason Voorhees has been featured at Halloween Horror Nights in previous years. Past attractions include the “All Nite Die-In” haunted house in 2003 and the “Freddy vs. Jason” house in 2015. Each iteration has presented the character in different settings.
