Gordon Ramsay Opens First Disneyland Restaurant at Downtown Disney

Disneyland Resort has officially welcomed one of the world’s most famous celebrity chefs.

Gordon Ramsay has opened his first-ever restaurant at Disneyland Resort, bringing a taste of British cuisine to Downtown Disney. The new venue, Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby, welcomed its first guests on July 13 and marks another major addition to the district’s ongoing transformation.

The opening continues Disneyland’s strategy of expanding Downtown Disney with high-profile dining experiences from internationally recognised brands.

A Taste of London in California

Located at the western end of Downtown Disney, next to the recently opened Earl of Sandwich, Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby draws inspiration from London’s vibrant Carnaby Street during the 1960s.

The 175-seat table-service restaurant features British-inspired décor, music from the era and a menu showcasing several of Ramsay’s best-known dishes.

Among the signature offerings is the chef’s famous Beef Wellington, alongside traditional favourites including fish and chips, cottage pie and a Wagyu burger. Guests can also order freshly carved prime rib from a dedicated carving cart, served with classic British accompaniments such as Yorkshire pudding.

Initially, the restaurant will be open exclusively for dinner service, with breakfast and lunch expected to be introduced at a later date.

Continuing the Transformation of Downtown Disney

The opening is another milestone in the extensive redevelopment of Downtown Disney, which has undergone significant changes in recent years.

Disney has steadily introduced a mix of new restaurants, shops and redesigned public spaces in an effort to modernise the entertainment district and broaden its appeal beyond theme park visitors. Several long-standing businesses have closed or relocated to make way for new concepts, creating a refreshed dining and shopping destination.

The arrival of Gordon Ramsay adds another internationally recognised name to Downtown Disney’s growing collection of premium dining experiences and reflects Disney’s continued investment in elevating the resort’s food and beverage offerings.

For Disneyland visitors, it also provides the opportunity to enjoy one of Gordon Ramsay’s signature restaurants without ever leaving the magic of the resort.
