Fun Spot America has announced that it is immediately stepping up enforcement of its existing chaperone policy at all three of its locations following recent online discussions about a potential “park takeover.”
In a statement shared on social media, the company said that providing a safe, clean and enjoyable environment remains its top priority and that it will be actively enforcing rules already in place for younger visitors.
Guests Under 21 Must Be Accompanied
Under the policy, all guests under the age of 21 must be accompanied by an adult who is at least 21 years old.
Each chaperone may supervise up to two guests under 21 and must remain inside the park for the entire duration of their visit. Chaperones are also required to present a valid government-issued photo ID upon entry.
Exceptions for Some Guests
Fun Spot America said it understands that every situation is different and will continue to work with annual passholders and other guests on a case-by-case basis when special circumstances apply.
The park also confirmed that it is coordinating with local authorities to maintain the highest possible level of safety during park operations.
Response to Online Discussions
The announcement comes after online discussions regarding a possible “park takeover,” a term often used to describe large gatherings organised through social media that can overwhelm attractions and create security concerns.
While Fun Spot America did not provide further details about the discussions, the company made it clear that the policy itself is not new. Instead, it is increasing enforcement of the existing rules in response to the situation.
The updated approach applies immediately at all three Fun Spot America locations.
