Germany - Europa-Park has reached a new phase with the topping-out ceremony for the Riverside Western Lodge in the Silver Lake City themed area. This new development will feature Wild West-themed elements, including 119 designed rooms, a brewery, and various leisure amenities. The opening is scheduled for June 18, 2026.
Development Details and Features
The Riverside Western Lodge will integrate into the existing Silver Lake City area, which already includes Western-style accommodations, a buffet restaurant, Wild Horse Bar, playground, and mini-golf course. The lodge will cover approximately 7,000 square meters (75,347 square feet) and will feature facilities such as modern ventilation systems and sustainable heat pumps, adhering to environmental standards.
In addition to themed rooms, the lodge will include an ice cream parlor, a shop, and a YULLBE GO attraction, providing guests with various recreational activities. The development will offer a full-service environment within the park’s thematic setting.
Project Timeline and Collaboration
The design phase for the Riverside Western Lodge began in June 2024, and construction started in May 2025. According to Charles Botta, Director of MACK Solutions, the project has progressed efficiently to its current stage. The construction involves collaboration with local craftsmen, planners, and partners, with significant contributions from the surrounding Rust community.
In addition to the lodge, the “Masterplan Verkehr” initiative focuses on improving infrastructure and accessibility, enhancing the park’s integration with the local area. This collaboration highlights the connection between Europa-Park and the Rust community, concentrating on growth and development.
