Germany - Europa-Park in Germany started its 2025/26 winter season on November 28, 2025, with a large gathering of Santa Clauses. Participants from Germany, France, and Switzerland attended the event, which included an opening ceremony featuring performances by the park’s resident artists. The Santas had access to rides on several park attractions, including the blue fire Megacoaster and the Enzian Alpine Express.
Winter Attractions and New Additions
The winter season at Europa-Park runs from November 29, 2025, to January 18, 2026, offering over 100 attractions and shows. New additions include the “Monte-Carlo Circus Festival meets Europa-Park” circus revue and the “Ice Sculpture Dome – A Trip Back in Time to 1975” exhibit, showcasing detailed ice sculptures. An indoor family playground has also been introduced for younger visitors.
Returning Favorites and Entertainment Highlights
The 55-metre (180 feet) Bellevue Ferris wheel returns to the Portugal themed area, providing panoramic views of the park. Other attractions include the Heaven’s Gate Post Office in the England section and the Alpine Children’s Ski School. The entertainment program features “Surpr’Ice presents A Christmas Dream,” an ice show, a horse show in the Spanish Arena, and the “Firework of Memories – Winter Magic” 3D mapping show.
Additional Offerings
Europa-Park also offers new film screenings for visitors. Guests can explore Rulantica, the park’s water world, which is part of the activities available. Dining and accommodation options have been updated to accommodate the increase in visitors during the winter season.
