Germany - Erlebnispark Tripsdrill, situated in Cleebronn, Germany, has announced the addition of a new family-friendly ride called “Luftikus,” set to open at the start of the 2026 season. This new attraction will feature an innovative design and thematic elements.
Details of the “Luftikus” Attraction
The “Luftikus” ride, expected to open in March 2026, is being produced by Italian manufacturer Zamperla and classified as a “Flying Tiger 8” type. The ride will include eight gondolas that travel along an oval track, moving in a swinging motion through the curves. Each gondola can accommodate either four children or one adult with two children, allowing for a total of 32 passengers per ride cycle.
Thematic Integration and Location
The attraction will be located near an existing launch coaster within the park. “Luftikus” is designed to resemble a historic zeppelin, and it aligns with the fictitious character “Karle Kolbenfresser,” associated with the nearby roller coaster.
Opening Schedule
A special pre-opening event is scheduled for March 21 and 22, 2026, offering visitors an opportunity to experience the ride before its official opening. Regular operations for “Luftikus” will begin on March 28, 2026.
