Florida - Universal Orlando’s latest theme park, Epic Universe, which opened in May 2025, will be the subject of a one-hour television special titled “Inside the Worlds of Epic Universe.” This program is scheduled to air on NBC on August 20, 2025, at 9 p.m. ET and will be available for streaming on Peacock starting August 21.
Exploring Epic Universe
The special will examine all five themed areas of Epic Universe, offering viewers detailed insights into each. The park features Celestial Park, Super Nintendo World, Dark Universe, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, and How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk. These areas provide various experiences inspired by Universal’s franchises.
Contributions from Industry Icons
Announced by NBC on July 29, the special will include appearances from actors and directors associated with Universal’s franchises. An extended interview with filmmaker Steven Spielberg will offer insights into the creative process behind the park’s development.
