Eis-Greissler Erlebnispark Expands with Addition of Wiesenwalzer

Austria - Eis-Greissler Erlebnispark, an amusement park in Austria, has expanded its offerings with the introduction of Wiesenwalzer, a family-oriented teacup carousel. This addition is part of the park’s ongoing efforts to enhance its attractions.

The Wiesenwalzer, developed by Creative Studio Berlin, offers a new take on the traditional teacup ride. It includes nine themed teacups, some featuring gold leaf decoration. These teacups are placed on a rotating platform, which is mounted on a larger spinning disc, providing a dual rotation mechanism. The ride can accommodate up to 45 passengers, with each teacup holding up to five guests

Wiesenwalzer is accessible to visitors aged four and older, with a minimum height requirement of 3.3 feet (1 meter). The ride emphasizes both safety and enjoyment. Passengers have the ability to control their own spinning speed, offering an interactive component.

The introduction of Wiesenwalzer follows previous investments in rides such as the Bucklbahn roller coaster and the Wolkenfanger interactive experience. The concept for Wiesenwalzer was inspired by park founders Andrea and Georg Blochberger, aiming to celebrate the culture of the Bucklige Welt region.

The attraction complements the park’s regional delicacies, including coffee, homemade cakes, and Eis-Greissler ice cream.
