Duinrell has opened Duinrell Express, a new indoor family attraction at its theme park in the Netherlands. The ride replaces the former Mini Train and offers guests a journey through a themed environment populated by 21 animated troll characters. It is now operational and accessible to park visitors.
New Scenes and Familiar Elements
Passengers aboard Duinrell Express travel through detailed indoor scenes featuring crystal structures, colored lighting, and whimsical displays. The ride includes a musical element presented by the Rock’n Troll Band and several moving figures. Elements from the former Mini Train, including the original train car, have been incorporated into the decor to preserve a sense of continuity.
Elevated Viewing Area Added
In addition to the ride itself, a new observation deck has been added above the Duinrell Express tunnel. The platform provides 360-degree views over the surrounding park, including the Kikkerrad Ferris wheel, Aqua Swing, Locomotion, and the Amsterdam-themed section. The platform serves as a resting space for visitors seeking an elevated vantage point.
Duinrell Express is now open and offers a family-oriented experience that blends new storytelling with recognizable visual elements from the park’s past.
