Drievliet Amusement Park Plans New Themed Area and Attraction for 2026

Drievliet, an amusement park located in The Hague, Netherlands, has announced plans to introduce a new themed area and ride for the 2026 season.

Development of “Pelikan Pier”

Drievliet’s new themed area, “Pelikan Pier,” will expand the current entrance zone. This area will feature a maritime harbor theme, centered around the park’s mascot, Daan Pelikan. The redesign will include new facades to create a coastal atmosphere. As part of this development, the Breakdance ride will be removed, altering the park’s current lineup.

Introduction of “SteamCycloon” in Tijdreizigers Area

The park will also introduce a new attraction named “SteamCycloon,” located in the “Tijdreizigers” (Time Travelers) section. This ride, manufactured by the Italian company Technical Park, is a Sidecar XXL ride featuring twelve small steam locomotive-themed cars. Riders can control their outward swing in each car.

Drievliet was established in 1938, evolving from a simple excursion destination to a modern amusement park with a wide range of attractions and thematic developments.
