The Netherlands - A diver was injured during a performance of the High Dive & Stuntshow at Avonturenpark Hellendoorn earlier today. The incident occurred around 1:15 p.m. and involved a member of the stunt team Falcon Entertainment, which presents the show daily during the summer season.
According to a statement from the park, safety protocols were immediately activated and emergency services arrived on the scene quickly. The diver was transported to the hospital for further medical examination. His condition was initially reported as stable.
In a later update, the park confirmed that the diver has returned to Hellendoorn following extensive medical checks. “We are incredibly relieved and happy that he is doing well,” the park wrote. The team also extended their thanks to everyone for their concern and support, and wished the diver a speedy recovery.
Out of respect for the diver’s privacy and ongoing procedures, the park has not released further details about the nature of the incident.

The safety of both performers and guests remains a top priority for the park, which expressed its gratitude to visitors for their calmness and understanding during the event.
The High Dive & Stuntshow, themed around knights battling a dragon named Hellendra to recover a stolen crown, is scheduled to run daily through August 31.
