Disneyland Resort has announced a special one-day Disney Princess concert that will bring together some of the original voices behind the iconic characters for what Disney describes as the largest gathering of Disney Princess talent ever assembled.
The event, titled Disney Princess: The Ultimate Concert Celebration, will take place on 13 August 2026 at Disney California Adventure and is included with regular park admission. Guests will not need a separate event ticket, although attendance will require a free virtual queue reservation.
Original Voices Take the Stage
While Disney has not yet confirmed the full performer lineup, the concert will feature voice actors and performers from Disney Princess films, Broadway productions and music.
Several well-known Disney Princess performers have already been announced for D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, which takes place the following weekend, making them likely participants in the concert. They include Jodi Benson, the original voice of Ariel from The Little Mermaid, Paige O’Hara, the voice of Belle from Beauty and the Beast, and Susan Egan, who originated the role of Belle in the Broadway production of Beauty and the Beast.
The concert will celebrate Disney’s official lineup of 13 Disney Princesses and will feature live musical performances inspired by their stories.
Part of D23 Day
The concert forms part of D23 Day, a special celebration taking place across Disneyland Resort on 13 August ahead of D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, which runs from 14 to 16 August in nearby Anaheim.
In addition to exclusive entertainment, the day will feature character appearances, limited-edition merchandise and other special experiences throughout the resort.
Disney Princess: The Ultimate Concert Celebration will also be filmed for television and later broadcast on ABC’s The Wonderful World of Disney on 16 August.
Virtual Queue Required
Guests wishing to attend the concert must join a free virtual queue on 13 August after entering either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure. Those joining from Disneyland Park must hold a Park Hopper ticket, as the concert takes place inside Disney California Adventure.
Visitors who receive a boarding group will collect a wristband later that afternoon before attending one of two scheduled performances at 8:30 p.m. or 9:45 p.m.
To make way for the event, Disney has confirmed there will be no performances of World of Color – ONE on 13 August.
With a star-studded lineup, free admission for park guests and a national television broadcast, Disney Princess: The Ultimate Concert Celebration is shaping up to be one of the highlights of this year’s D23 festivities.
