France - Disneyland Paris has introduced new interactive treasure hunts in Frontierland and Adventureland. These activities, developed by Disneyland Paris in collaboration with Walt Disney Imagineering Paris, provide visitors with a different way to engage with the park’s storytelling and themed environments.
Frontierland’s Gold Nugget Recovery
In Frontierland, guests can participate in a treasure hunt that involves helping Sheriff Will Ketchum recover gold nuggets scattered by bandits across Thunder Mesa. Participants can receive a leaflet from designated Cast Members, which guides them in their quest to find the hidden treasures. After collecting the gold nuggets, they can be exchanged for a surprise at the Thunder Mesa Mercantile Building boutique. This activity offers an interactive exploration of the fictional Wild West town.
Upcoming Adventureland Treasure Hunt
Later this summer, Adventureland will introduce a permanent treasure hunt located within the caves of Adventure Isle. Inspired by the Pirates of the Caribbean narrative, this activity challenges guests to find eight lost objects, including a wooden leg, a pirate’s hat, and a set of keys essential for a dog guarding imprisoned pirates. The hunt features hand-painted posters and props, which contribute to the Adventure Isle storyline.
These treasure hunts are designed to enhance the storytelling elements of both Frontierland and Adventureland, providing Disneyland Paris visitors with new experiences.
