Disney Reports Revenue Growth in Parks and Experiences Segment

France - The Walt Disney Company has announced financial growth in its Disney Experiences segment for the third fiscal quarter ending June 28, 2025.

The company reported an 8% increase in revenue alongside a 13% rise in operating income during this period. This growth occurred in both domestic and international operations, despite challenges in specific regions.

Financial Performance Overview

Domestic (USA) theme parks significantly contributed to Disney’s financial performance, with a 10% rise in revenue and a 22% increase in operating income.

International parks experienced a 6% growth in income but faced a 3% decline in operating income. Contributing factors included increased spending by park visitors, a rise in occupied room nights at Disney hotels, and an increase in cruise passenger days.

Global Expansion Projects

Disney is undertaking several expansion projects across its global theme parks. A new World of Frozen land is scheduled to open at Disneyland Paris in 2026. In the United States, new themed areas are being developed at Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. An Avatar-themed destination is under construction at Disney California Adventure.

Cruise Line Developments

The Disney Cruise Line is set to expand with two new ships, the Disney Destiny and Disney Adventure, expected to launch later this year. This addition will bring the fleet to a total of eight ships, increasing Disney’s maritime capacity.
