Disney Cruise Line to Introduce Seventh Ship, Disney Destiny

Disney Cruise Line - Disney Cruise Line is preparing to introduce its seventh cruise ship, the Disney Destiny, which will be part of the Wish class fleet. The ship is designed to accommodate up to 4,000 passengers across approximately 1,250 staterooms and will be based at Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale.

Features and Amenities

The Disney Destiny, like its sister ships Disney Wish and Disney Treasure, includes a variety of amenities for families and adults. The ship has a rotational dining system with three themed dining rooms, such as 1923 and Worlds of Marvel. Entertainment options on board include stage musicals at the Walt Disney Theatre, the AquaMouse water coaster, and events like Pirate Night, which features a fireworks display.

For adult passengers, the Disney Destiny offers exclusive venues, including two fine dining restaurants: Palo Steakhouse and Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallement. Additional facilities for adults include the Cove Café and a fitness center.

Family-Friendly Experiences

The Disney Destiny offers experiences designed for families, featuring themed kids’ clubs and activities suitable for various age groups. The ship’s itineraries will include themed celebrations, such as Frozen-themed activities for voyages in northern climates.

Future Expansion of Wish Class Ships

The Disney Destiny is part of the expansion of the Wish class ships. Two more ships are planned, with expected launch dates in 2027 and 2029. The ship scheduled for 2029 will be based in Japan, expanding Disney Cruise Line’s operations globally.

These additions to the Wish class are intended to provide diverse cruising options for Disney guests worldwide.
