Florida - LEGOLAND Florida has stirred up quite the buzz with the opening of “The Grove”, a new beer garden located in The Land of Adventure.
Announced on the park’s Facebook page, The Grove promises a selection of craft beers, gourmet pretzels, and family-friendly yard games, aiming to offer a new kind of relaxation spot within the bustling theme park.
However, the introduction of The Grove has not been without controversy. As LEGOLAND is widely perceived as a children’s park, the inclusion of a new alcohol-serving venue has sparked debate among visitors and followers on social media.
One follower voiced strong opposition, stating, “Legoland should be alcohol-free and smoking-free establishment. It has no place at Legoland.” This sentiment reflects the concerns of many who believe the park should maintain its family-centric environment free from alcohol and its associated behaviors.
Conversely, others have defended the beer garden, arguing that responsible consumption does not detract from the family-friendly atmosphere. “It doesn’t affect you in any way shape or form if I have a beer while I’m walking around,” another follower responded, highlighting a common perspective that the addition caters to the adults who accompany their children to the park.
