Italy - Cinecittà World, located in Rome, has launched a series of holiday events and attractions, running until January 6. The park has been redesigned to reflect a winter theme, offering visitors several holiday-related experiences and entertainment options.
1920s New York and Seasonal Features
The centerpiece of Cinecittà World’s holiday events is “Christmas Street,” an area modeled after 1920s New York. This street features lights, horse-drawn carriages, and oversized gift boxes. The park has introduced “Pista di Pattinaggio,” an ice-skating feature inspired by traditional Christmas scenes. The “Nevicata di Natale” event adds a snow-themed element to the street.
Entertainment and Interactive Activities
Visitors to Cinecittà World can access various entertainment options. The “Christmas Show” includes Christmas melodies and appearances by familiar holiday figures. The “I-Fly” virtual roller coaster provides a simulated sleigh ride experience. Additionally, the show “La notte che cambiò il Natale” tells the story of a toy maker who rediscovers holiday magic.
Family-Friendly Attractions and New Year Events
Santa Claus can be found in the “Casa di Babbo Natale,” where children can send wish lists from the “Sala degli Elfi.” The events will culminate on December 31 with a New Year’s Eve celebration featuring attractions, live shows, concerts, DJ sets, and a fireworks display. The festivities conclude on January 6 with the arrival of Befana, a traditional Italian figure who delivers sweets and surprises for children.
