Chessington Continues Expansion with New “Paw Patrol” Roller Coaster and Themed Area Plans

Chessington World of Adventures is advancing its current phase of expansion with the completion of track installation for a new roller coaster and the announcement of a future themed area based on the children’s television series Paw Patrol. These developments strengthen the park’s ongoing efforts to diversify its offerings and attract a wider range of visitors.

New Roller Coaster Reaches Key Construction Milestone

The park has completed the installation of the track for its upcoming roller coaster. While technical specifications such as manufacturer, height, and ride speed have not been confirmed, the finished track indicates that construction is progressing on schedule. The new attraction is expected to be a significant addition, offering guests a fresh experience during an upcoming season.

With the track in place, the project will now move into its next stages, including mechanical installation, safety testing, and thematic finishing. An official opening date has not yet been shared.

“Paw Patrol” Themed Area Planned for 2026

Looking further ahead, Chessington has announced that a new themed area based on Paw Patrol will open in 2026. Aimed at families and younger visitors, the area will be located on the site of a former attraction. Details such as ride lineup, layout, and design elements have not yet been released, but the theme will draw from the popular animated series known for its rescue-adventure storyline and recognizable characters.

The transformation of the site is expected to take place over the next two years, with additional information to be revealed as development progresses.

Continued Investment in Guest Experience

Both the upcoming roller coaster and the planned Paw Patrol area reflect Chessington World of Adventures’ broader strategy of ongoing investment in new attractions and entertainment offerings. These additions are part of a multi-year effort to enhance the park’s appeal to both thrill-seekers and families.
