Brazil - Construction is progressing rapidly on Cacau Park, a major new theme park project currently underway in Itu, approximately 100 kilometers west of São Paulo, Brazil. The park is scheduled to open in 2027 and is being developed by the Brazilian chocolate company Cacau Show, under the direction of its founder Alexandre Costa.
€300 million project with immersive themed lands
With a budget exceeding €300 million, the project aims to bring to life the rich visual identity already teased in concept art. The park will include several immersive zones such as Foresta Cacau, Villa Lacreme, Aventura Maya, and Universo Dreams. Chocolate will serve as a recurring theme across both indoor environments and outdoor attractions.
Designed to appeal to families and thrill-seekers alike, the park will combine themed storytelling with modern ride systems and a strong focus on Brazilian creativity and culture.
Three Vekoma coasters in development
As part of the attraction lineup, three roller coasters are currently planned, including at least one extreme model. All three are being developed in partnership with Vekoma, a well-known international coaster manufacturer. While no models have been officially confirmed, the inclusion of Vekoma suggests a mix of high-capacity and possibly launch-based designs.
One of South America’s most ambitious theme park projects
Cacau Park represents one of the largest private entertainment investments in South America. With a mix of fantasy, chocolate, and cultural theming, the destination aims to establish itself as a new benchmark in Brazilian family tourism. Further project details are expected to be revealed in the coming months as construction continues toward its 2027 opening.
