Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey has announced a delay in the opening of its planned roller coaster, originally scheduled for a 2026 debut. This new roller coaster was expected to replace Kingda Ka, currently the world’s tallest roller coaster. Details about the new attraction’s features or the records it aims to achieve have not been disclosed, and its introduction is now postponed indefinitely. Six Flags New England and Knott’s Berry Farm Updates
In Massachusetts, Six Flags New England is also delaying the launch of its new attraction. The Intamin family launch coaster, named Quantum Accelerator, has encountered unspecified issues with the Intamin model, resulting in its debut being postponed to the following year. Meanwhile, Knott’s Berry Farm in California continues to work on MonteZOOMa: The Forbidden Fortress, a redevelopment of the historic Montezooma’s Revenge.
